Industrial Pump Case
This project involved refining a client-supplied STEP model of an industrial pump case, developing custom 2D engineering drawings, and producing a scaled 3D printed prototype for marketing use. Minor 3D corrections and dimensional adjustments were made to improve the supplied geometry and align the documentation with the client’s requirements.
The client supplied an existing STEP model derived from scan data. Minor geometry corrections and refinements were made to improve the model before developing documentation and prototypes.
Engineering drawings were developed to match the client’s requested view arrangement and dimensioning convention. Selected dimensions and features were refined from the supplied model to better reflect the intended geometry.
A reduced-scale 3D printed prototype was produced from the refined model for use as a portable marketing and demonstration aid.
